Let the Love In
/Love surrounds us. You may not feel that. You may have never felt that.
But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It doesn’t mean that you’ll never feel it.
The Whispers of Spirit: How Love Guides and Inspires Us
When we go seeking for love, it often escapes us. We may grasp onto it, holding it tight for a second, and then it flits away as fast as it came.
Don’t hold on so tight, the guides say. They often whisper to us on the winds. Their voices come and go. They touch base and ride our thoughts. We think it’s just us talking to ourselves. Oh, that was very wise of me to say, we think to ourselves. But we do have help. We have help all the time. Sometimes we take note of it and listen to it. Maybe we even write it down and it turns into a book.
I like to think that spirit is whispering their love all of the time.
Some of us create with that love. We bake the best cookies or hug our children a little tighter. Some build a magnificent building and others invent a new product that will help the world. To me, that is what the whispering is. A love whisper helping us identify what is much needed in ourselves.
The Power of Love and Kindness
I am still learning about love myself. I had no idea how deep it could go. Like the darkest depths of sadness, love can go even deeper. As we return to the knowledge of our soul selves, love becomes richer. It defies expectation. It exists. Profound in its glory and unabashedness. I guess I see love as a consciousness. An entity all its own. Some might even say love is God. Why not? What a beautiful thought. When I am asked what I think God is, I do say LOVE. That is what I believe in.
Love spills through me onto everything I do. It is my one purveying energy source. Kindness is another one. Love and kindness are so often desired, so often needed in this world of ours, and so often are discarded, thrown away, or rejected. Love needs to flow like the Mississippi. It needs to just BE. But we try our best to divert it. Dam it up. Control it. But it cannot be done. It is meant to flow free. To be ALLOWED.
Receiving Unconditional Love and Recognizing Your Worth
Receiving love can be a challenge, especially for those of us who have not felt the unconditional version of it.
It’s uncomfortable at first, to feel that sense of unconditionality. We question ourselves: Do I deserve this? Don’t I have to do something first in order to receive this? The answer is always no. You are worthy of that love always. You are worthy because you are here, alive, breathing, walking around, and observing this world.
Spirit Guides and Love: How They Help Us Walk with Purpose
That unconditionality of love is often what our spirit guides give us. There is no judgment towards us. There is only a hope that their love is felt and received. That we may walk this Earth knowing we are well and loved beyond measure. That we mustn’t strive so hard to obtain the love from the outside because it is within. Our guides can help us realize that. To remember from whence we came and will return to one day.
Our guides can teach us how to walk with purpose. To fill our hearts with so much love that we can’t help for it to spill over to everyone we meet and everything we touch.
Love as a Rainbow: Opening Our Hearts to the Love that Surrounds Us
When I think of love, I think of rainbows. I think of everyone’s love as a beautiful rainbow shining outwards and throughout the world. There is so much love that surrounds us. If we could only open our hearts and receive this love, we wouldn’t need to strive so hard to obtain it. You just need to open the window and let it in.
