One of the most common questions I find most people have is “What is my soul purpose/mission”? While the answer is often the same — to shine your light the best possible way you can — it’s also just a bit specific to each person. We are all lights, here to shine our souls, and share however we see fit — whether it’s out in the public or maybe more subtly with our daily interactions with people, or both! It just depends.

Usually, our soul purpose involves that thing many of us put on the back burner.

That thing we enjoy doing but you know, is “just for fun” or won’t ever “provide me a decent living so I only do it on Saturdays” — yeah, that kind of thing. You know what I’m talking about.

Here’s a great soul connection exercise you can use whenever you want to connect with your spirit team (your team includes your higher self, guides, angels, and loved ones in spirit) for insight about your life. For information on your soul purpose, answer the below three questions for yourself by asking your spirit team.

Get a pen/pencil and piece of paper — yeah, we’re going old school on this one! Sit down and take a few deep, relaxing breaths.

Write down the first question below and then ask your spirit team to give you the answer for that question. Then move on to the second question and so on. Trust what you receive in answer to each question and write down the first thing that pops into your intuitive mind even if it’s only ONE word or an image in your mind’s eye or a feeling in your body/heart… just write. it. down.

What am I supposed to do with my life?
What do I most enjoy doing?
How can I best shine my light while I’m alive?

When you’re done, reflect upon what you received. Even if it doesn’t make sense to you right now, it will later!
